People's Trust Bank is a federally regulated and government CDIC-insured chartered trust company with offices throughout Canada and in excess of $1 billion in assets under management. Triple Five is a large, asset-based financial conglomerate that consists of nearly 400 companies with offices across Canada, U.S., England, Japan, Taiwan and the Middle East. Selby Venture Partners, LLP, is a $135 million venture capital fund formed in 1998 to focus on early stage technology investments in Silicon Valley. Ghermezian earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Edmonton.
